Some day I will become a Mother. Until then, here are my random rants, thoughts and life experiences, as I travel through my 30's.

Detachment.
Last night I forced my Husband to talk to me. He was in the bathroom about to hop in the shower, when I politely and elegantly, opened the bathroom door and closed and locked it behind me. We argued while he was "buck nekked" and I got real with him, and him with me. Then, he shut down. I left the bathroom. After his shower he went in the kids room/mancave. There he stayed, watching TV, for the rest of the night. I guess he was processing our arguement. We have another counseling session on Saturday, and I'm no longer holding back. Flanagan has no idea what he's in for.

Cute, huh?
I've had many compliments on this scarf over the past week, so I thought i'd let you see it. Also, it's handmade by my friend Damian who thinks she's talentless.
Gettin' sh** done.
I feel good today. Last night, i was blue thinking of my journey to my child, and it seemed so far away. On the way home from a friends house last night, my Husband said he could go either way regarding us having a child. He has 3 already and is not yearning like I am. I appreciated his brutal honesty, but it still sucks to hear your Husband would be "happy either way". Cuz it seems to be killing me.
Anyway, today I am able to keep myself distracted with light housecleaning, taking care of some financial stuff and probably some cardmaking tonight. My cards are simple and unperfect. No one but my Mother has ever purchased one.
They are on Etsy and have had very few views and no purchases.
And i'll continue to make them until I can't anymore. It's a creative expression for me, and also allows me to do emotional work while I sit at my "card station" that faces the window.

Oorah!
My Cousin William is home from war, back on U.S. soil for the next year. We are so blessed to have him home!
What an amazing accomplishment, to be fighting for your country at the age of...oh...22.
Anyway, on a chilly day in January, our family got together and celebrated. Hard.
I was even forced into my first shot of Jagermeister.
Ew.
Thank You William. We love you.

January brought...
Epiphanies. More emotional work. Some tears and some joy.
Oh, and there will be pictures to prove it, come next week when my new modem comes in the mail....sigh.

The Flu - Day 4
Day 1 felt like a cold. Day 2 felt worse. Day 3 and today feel like I've been run over by a car while having a cold.
Hubby and I are not happy with each other this week. We didn't have therapy this week. We have it every other week, but it should be weekly....
Sigh...
